Clear your head at the office: 5 Simple Office Workout Ideas
Ah the modern office environment. For those of you who are fans of the TV show The Office or the movie Office Space, you know that life in the office today in America can be, well let’s just say tedious at best. Here are 5 tips to kick off the dust & shake things up a bit.
1) Take a walk EVERY hour: Get up & move! This is a no brainer but most people can get locked in their office & chair for hours at end. TIP– Set an alarm to get up & take the stairs down to the outside of the building at least 3 times per day to clear your head. You will come back MUCH more refreshed as well as productive.
2) Host an office wide workout weekly. This is something that our team really embraces at SIS. Usually at least a few times per month you will see most of our staff take a break, gather in a main room to plank, do lunges or push-ups. Thanks to LeeAnn for spearheading this!
